I Think I Must Be in Scotland

A long planned for trip is finally happening! After two reasonably long flights, and a very helpful taxi driver, I found myself in the center of Glasgow. It would be from here that I needed to catch a train to start my journey to my first sheep-stop.

But first, to combat jet-lag, I browsed around Glasgow a bit, seeing….

…a little architecture

…something that is everywhere (ok, I did stop for coffee, but I had to stay awake!)

…another familiar sight, but I looked for this on purpose as I had managed to leave my card reader for my iPad at home and would not have able to do this blog!

…and some things we do not usually see…

It was now time to find the train station – which I did with a little help.

The scenery on the way from Glasgow to Oban during my 3 hour train ride was pretty amazing. Lots of lochs and gorgeous elevations.
