One of the steps in getting the new lambs integrated into the flock is to make sure they will understand that grain is tasty and a reward for going where they are supposed to go. Here is their story of this new taste experience.
“What’s that?”
Kari, “You two try it first.”
Kate, “Look, Kari, Lily is eating it!”
Kate, “Move over!”
Kari, “OK, I guess it’s safe”
Kate, “OK, now they’re both just getting pushy.”
“I think we need a bigger bowl!”
Looks like I won’t have a problem getting them to come to grain…..
